We all want our cats to live forever because they are part of our families. But unfortunately, they often have short periods of life (10-14 years). So when Luna, Charlotte, North Carolina’s cat, turned 15, her family wanted to do something special to celebrate their 15th birthday.
Due to love and appreciate it so much, Luna’s family decided to give him a surprise quinceañera. It is a cultural tradition and a rite of passage that marks the 15th birthday of a girl and is celebrated by a great party.
Luna was found wandering on the side of the road when she was only 3 weeks old. Olavarria’s family saved her and took her to her loving house. She has always been a loving loving one, so the family pampered her with endless love and attention.
“We pampered her with abundant love and survived all our pets. On his 15th anniversary, we decided to give our little cheese ball a surprise quinceañera,” Luna’s brother told the Dodo
Angel Olavarria. Olavarria’s mother started working on the party plans and prepared a lot of food, a cake, decorations, a guest list, etc. Moon even had a perfect dress like any other 15-year-old daughter.
“My mother found the dress on Amazon,” says Olavarria. “I thought my mother was joking when she said she was going to order her a dress, but my mother never jokes about our pets.”
Twelve family members and friends attended, and they were all very happy. Even Luna had fun, especially when she received her own special gift.
“She has been a good sport throughout this, and we think she really knew we were celebrating her,” Olavarria said: “She liked it even more when we opened a pretty box of tuna.
