7) Fever
One of the most common signs of illness in cats is a fever. If your cat’s body temperature is consistently higher than normal, it could indicate an underlying infection or other health issue. Contact your veterinarian if your cat’s temperature is over 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Other signs of fever may include lethargy and decreased appetite. It’s important to note that a fever is not a disease in itself but rather a symptom of an underlying issue that requires medical attention.
8) Diarrhea
Watery or loose stools are not normal for cats. If your cat is experiencing diarrhea, it may indicate an underlying issue such as an infection, parasite, or dietary intolerance. Make sure to monitor your cat’s bowel movements and bring them to the vet if it persists for more than a day or two.
